VAPS XT offers greater control over simulated environments

Engenuity Technologies has been demonstrating its new next-generation visualisation and simulation tool, VAPS XT. The software is designed to integrate with the userÕs own design processes, enabling Human Machine Interface (HMI) developers to purchase the product Ôoff the shelfÕ and use it as a platform for the testing and development of avionics displays.

VAPS XT offers a number of enhancements over its predecessor, VAPS, including greater open architecture, enabling users to take full control of the entire environment on display.

Engenuity has developed VAPS XT in close consultation with several customers, including communication and avionic electronics systems integrator Rockwell Collins, car giant DaimlerChrysle....
