Javelin landing gear upgrades pass modification test

Aviation Technology Group has successfully tested upgraded landing gear for the Javelin. The upgrades were installed after initial tests during which the Javelin prototype’s landing gear was cycled as the aircraft manoeuvred between 135 to 180 knots.

George Bye, chairman of ATG, says: “The Javelin prototype has undergone a series of modifications to support future flight tests. The landing gear system has been upgraded to incorporate an emergency landing gear extension and a new canopy with upgraded contour has been installed and tested successfully.”....
