UV laser markable wires designed to cut weight and costs

Wires that offer cost and colour coding advantages in aircraft cabling have been developed by AXON Cable. The UV laser markable extruded PTFE wires, MIL-W- 22759/11/12/22/23, are said to fit in smaller spaces with reduced weight. A spokesman says: "Up to now, manufacturers in the aeronautics industry who needed laser markable PTFE wires were only able to obtain taped wires.....
