Bodycote creates regional centre for materials testing

Bodycote Materials Testing, part of Bodycote International, has relocated the company’s two major businesses in the north west of England – North-West and PDL – to new purpose-built premises, creating a regional centre for materials testing.

Sean Kerr, md Bodycote MTET Europe says: “We have used the additional space to ergonomically design a layout to optimise operational efficiency and to provide enhanced service to our customer base throughout the north west region and beyond, both nationally and internationally.”

The new facility has 30,000 sq ft of laboratory and office space, which is now home to a range of materials testing capabilities covering mechanical testing, coatings, composites, polymer materials, plastic pipe testing, metallographic/metallurgical services and a range of re....
