Private sporting side of Boeing ceo

Scott Carson, ceo of Boeing Commercial Airplanes, producer of some of the biggest aircraft in the world, is buying a Sport Cub S2, a modernised version of the old Piper Cub that dates back to the 1930s.

The S2, being produced at CubCrafters of Yakima, Washington state in the U.S. and priced at around $120,000, is a light "metal tube and fabric" aircraft with modern avionics. Carson, 61, says he is buying the S2 for himself and his family. Boeing points that Carson is among many Boeing employees and executives who fly, adding: "It's what we do."....
