Helicopter firm makes changes to its product line

Bell Helicopter is to increase manufacturing capacity of some product lines to accelerate deliveries of its high-demand aircraft.

The Texas-based aircraft manufacturer is ramping up production of the Bell 407, 412 and 429 helicopters to enable the company to deliver a larger number of commercial aircraft each year.

To make way for this increase in manufacturing, Bell has taken the decision to end production of the Bell JetRanger, 210, 427 and 430 by 2010. It will continue to provide support for both in and out of production helicopters.....
