Bombardier invests £70m towards aircraft development

Aircraft manufacturing in Northern Ireland is set to receive a welcome boost from investments worth around £70m. Bombardier Aerospace will allocate funds towards a range of technologically-advanced aircraft development projects.

It includes over £50m for the manufacture of major components for the new CRJ1000 regional aircraft. Invest NI is also expected to offer funding.....
