StacoSwitch announces its new high power switching module for automotive, aviation and marine applications
Wednesday, 19 July 2006

StacoSwitch announces the availability of the High Power Switching Module (PSM), a single electronic board that handles high current switching function. Wired into the desired 6V to 28V system, the PSM board allows control of up to six different devices. Switch action can be set independently for each channel to "alternate" or "momentary." Lighting intensity can be adjusted for both backlighting (green) and switch status (red) indicator LEDs.

"The StacoSwitch power switching module is the best product on the market which allows the use of a keypad or other low current switches to control high current devices and equipment", says Michael Carter, President of StacoSwitch. "Imagine being able to use a keypad to switch up to 15 amps on any one of six channels, with a total of 30 amps in all. The StacoSwitch power switching module allows designers and builders to get rid of ugly toggle switches, flip flops and bulky relays. StacoSwitch is very proud to offer this unique and innovative product."

The PSM was originally designed to meet the needs of the marine industry when coupled with the StacoSwitch waterproof keypads with LED backlighting. The PSM module is also ideal for the automotive industry and can be used for conversion vans, emergency vehicles, toy haulers, specialty vehicles, motor homes, heavy equipment and off-road vehicles. The aviation industry would benefit by using the PSM for cabin lights, cargo area, lavatories and experimental aircraft.
