AutoTURN 5.1 now compatible with AutoCAD 2007 and MicroStation XM

The high end vehicle swept path software, AutoTURN 5.1, from Transoft Solutions, creators of CAD based software solutions for the transportation design sector, has been updated to make it compatible with the latest AutoCAD 2007 and MicroStation V8 XM platforms. The new release is available for existing AutoTURN 5.1 users as a free downloadable software patch off of Transoft's website.

Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Transoft Solutions, Noel Dolotallas, address the importance of keeping current with industry standards, "We've been developing advanced software solutions for the AEC community for the past number of years now. And from the very beginning, it has been our mandate to provide our clients with the very best in quality technology that is not only innovative and intuitive but also cost-effective. This means not just that our solutions are of a high quality but also that they operate within the different CAD and operating systems we support with minimal problems. We are extremely sensitive to the wasted productivity users can experience when their applications crash when they are working on an important project. So for all new software compatibility - our products go through a rigorous testing and quality assurance phase before we release any version type to the general public."

Transoft's product manager, Michael Frost added, "We have to ensure that all our products work seamlessly with the last version release for these CAD platforms before they go to market. We understand our engineering and design clients are at their best when they have the proper tools to allow time to be more productive and efficient on their projects. As responsible software developers, we know our success depends upon our ability to provide quality software for our clients. Therefore, we will not release our products until they have undergone a thorough testing and quality assurance phase. Our policy is to wait for the final platform version release from Autodesk and Bentley to guarantee that our software is fully functional with their code. We take the time and careful preparation to make certain all our products are of the highest standards. Our clients expect nothing less from us and we'll strive to do all in our power to meet and exceed these expectations. We don't take any shortcuts when it comes to our software."

To concluded, Mr. Dolotallas added, "I'm exceptionally proud of our Development team and their efforts to get the software release out without sacrificing product testing time and functionality. They've put in incredible work hours to make this AutoTURN release a reality under the pressure of tight schedules and timelines. They deserve all the credit and this company's gratitude for their accomplishments."

AutoTURN 5.1 is intended for civil engineers, drafters, urban planners, and land developers and is designed to integrate fully with Transoft's line of solution offerings, to provide enhanced productivity and efficiency for transportation design projects. Compatible with both AutoCAD and MicroStation platforms, AutoTURN is currently in use in over 80 countries with major government departments, engineering, and design companies that provide important infrastructure work.
