PRESS RELEASE
Issued by:

Vulcanair Aircraft goes Garmin
Thursday, 15 September 2011

Vulcanair is proud to announce the EASA validation of the Garmin G950 Glass Cockpit on to Vulcanair Piston Aircraft.

The new system will be available immediately on all new aircraft. The G950 brings the specifications of the P68 Series aircraft to the GA highest industry standards in terms of avionics. The system selected has 2 screens; a PFD and a MFD. All the engine parameters are displayed on the MFD.

G950 is available both for the P68C and P68R (retractable) aircraft, which have a conventional nose configuration. In addition, G950 is also available on the P68 Observer Series. The installation of the system on to our plexiglass nose helicopter-like aircraft is a first in the industry. This configuration allows having an advanced full IFR glass cockpit aircraft while retaining the unequalled visibility necessary for surveillance purposes.

In addition to the avionics improvements, Vulcanair Aircraft has introduced three completely redesigned cockpits respectively for the P68C Series, the P68R Series and the P68 Observer Series. The cockpits include re-positioning of the circuit breaker panels and various switches to improve the ergonomics and safety inflight. The cabin and cockpit ventilation systems and heating systems have also been redesigned and optimised.

Vulcanair Aircraft is continuing establishing itself as a player in the twin-engine aerial works market. The company also has a growing enthusiastic following among private owners who privilege safety comfort and economy coupled with excellent aircraft performance.

These are only a few reasons why the Vulcanair Aircraft family remains your sensible choice in GA single and twin-engine aircraft currently available in the market!
