Global 7000 and Global 8000 aircraft to be completed at Bombardier's Global Completion Centre

Bombardier Aerospace today announced that interior completion of its new Global 7000 and Global 8000 business jets will take place at its Global Completion Centre in Montreal.

"Global aircraft are truly unique, offering the industry's largest cabins combined with advanced avionics, entertainment systems and office in the sky cabin technology. The team at the Global Completion Centre has a proven track record in delivering the superior design, quality and craftsmanship our customers demand," said Steve Ridolfi, President, Bombardier Business Aircraft. "I am confident in our team's ability to complete the new Global 7000 and Global 8000 jets with the same superior level of quality and pride that goes into every Global 5000 and Global 6000 jet."

Global 7000 aircraft: Featuring a spacious four-zone cabin, this aircraft sets the benchmark for a new category of large business jets. With a volume of 2,637 cu. ft. It will fly Sydney-Dubai, London-Singapore or Beijing-Washington nonstop with 10 passengers(i). Entry-into-service is scheduled for 2016.

Global 8000 aircraft: Flying farther than any other business jet(i), the Global 8000 aircraft will feature a superior three-zone, 2,236-cu.ft. (63.32-cu.m.) cabin and an impressive range of 7,900 nm (14,631 km) at M 0.85(i). It will connect Sydney-Los Angeles, Hong Kong-New York and Mumbai-New York non-stop with eight passengers(i). The Global 8000 jet will reach a high-speed cruise of M 0.90(i). Entry-into-service is scheduled for 2017.
