L-3 MAS recently celebrated the delivery of structural components to be installed on the Bombardier Aerospace CSeries™ flight test aircraft. More than 100 components – from egress doors to ballast and water tanks – have been manufactured to support the flight test program and certification of the CSeries aircraft. Designed for the growing 100- to 149-seat market, the CSeries aircraft combines advanced materials, leading-edge technology and proven methods to meet commercial airline requirements.

L-3 MAS has received orders from Bombardier Aerospace for the manufacture and assembly of all the required emergency egress doors, as well as for approximately 100 ballast boxes and 20 water tanks, both designed to control stability during flight test operations.
