M7 Aerospace awarded KC-135 spoiler contract

M7 Aerospace has been awarded a contract to produce KC-135 spoiler assemblies from The Boeing Company. The KC-135 spoiler program is a multimillion dollar contract and calls for ship sets to be produced through 2009.  

The Manufacturing business unit of M7 Aerospace will provide over one hundred sheet metal and machined parts required for the spoiler assemblies. All work will be completed at M7's facility in San Antonio, Texas.

M7 Aerospace has been a qualified supplier to the Boeing Company, Integrated Defense Systems since 2005 and has achieved Boeing Enterprise Supplier Tool (BEST) quality level rating of GOLD.

M7 Aerospace is active in five business units, including Government Logistics Support Contracting; Manufacturing; Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul; Aircraft Parts and Service Support, and Engineering Services.  

M7 Aerospace maintains its headquarters on the international airport in San Antonio, Texas.  The company occupies a 426,000 sq. ft. complex that includes offices, factory facilities and aircraft hangars. 

M7 began operations on April 1, 2003, with approximately 175 employees. The company now employs nearly 500 people worldwide and more than 300 in San Antonio.
