ATT Metrology Services, Inc. has been awarded the Final Assembly Line (FAL) Metrology contract for Airbus in their new Mobile Alabama facility. This will be in support of the Final Assembly of the A319, A320 and A321 Airbus aircraft.

ATT is the leader in providing large volume precision measurement and alignment services. To meet the Airbus requirements, they have awarded ATT Tier 1 Supplier status and ATT will be opening a state-of-the-art Dimensional Metrology Laboratory in Mobile, Alabama. This facility will be AS9100 and ISO 17025 accredited. ATT will provide Airbus with a total solution for all Dimensional Metrology needs for the FAL facility.

The Airbus Group is a European multinational aerospace and defense corporation registered in the Netherlands and headquartered in Toulouse, France. The group consists of the three business divisions Airbus, Airbus Defense and Space, and Airbus Helicopters.

The 5,000 Square foot facility will house a thermally controlled laboratory with 1.2X2.2X1 Meter Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM), Laser Trackers, Portable Coordinate Measuring Machines (PCMM), Digital Photogrammetry and Laser Scanners
