Aloft AeroArchitects signs BBJ 737 MAX and extends Next-Generation 737 Auxiliary Fuel System contracts with Boeing

Aloft AeroArchitects (formerly PATS Aircraft Systems) today announced the award of a 5 year contract with Boeing Commercial Airplanes to exclusively supply Auxiliary Fuel Systems (AFS) for the Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) 737 MAX family of aircraft, including AFS kit manufacturing and installation. In addition to this new contract for the BBJ 737 MAX, Aloft and Boeing have extended the term of their existing contract for the exclusive supply by Aloft of the Next- Generation 737 AFS systems. With the extension of the Next-Generation 737 AFS contracts and the new BBJ 737 MAX contracts, Aloft and Boeing are continuing a partnership on extended range aircraft fuel systems that has lasted more than 20 years.

Aloft AeroArchitects has been the exclusive supplier of Auxiliary Fuel Systems to Boeing for the BBJ since 1998. In addition to the BBJ, Aloft also supplies Auxiliary Fuel Systems, installations and maintenance services to Boeing GTES and Boeing AEW&C as well as units for the aftermarket modification of aircraft which can extend their range by up to 50%.

Aloft's campus is located at the Delaware Coastal Airport in Georgetown, Delaware and includes its FAA Part 145 Repair Station, STC & PMA ODA/Engineering Services and aircraft systems manufacturing. Aloft also is a Boeing authorized BBJ Service Center focused on accommodating aircraft for interior completions, maintenance, modifications and auxiliary fuel tank installations. Aloft's manufacturing team, and its ODA and Engineering Services are also available to support design and certification requirements for project work on behalf of our global customers.
