EDAC Technologies proudly announces that the organization's Aero Components Division has entered into a long term manufacturing agreement with Snecma (Safran).
EDAC Technologies' Aero Components Division has signed a contract with Snecma to supply the precision machining of a large titanium frame for CFM International's LEAP-1B engine. The contract is valued at more than $150 million.
Ben Adams, Corporate Vice President of Sales and Marketing stated, “EDAC Technologies is very excited to partner with Snecma on this LEAP-1B manufacturing endeavor. We look forward to working with their internal teams to industrialize the product and meet the significant production ramp.”
According to Mark McDonald, CEO of EDAC Technologies, the organization is transforming its operations to support the growth platform “We appreciate Snecma's confidence in our ability to deliver a key component of the LEAP program. Our organization's leadership is focused on execution and we are investing heavily in the facilities and in the people that will make this program a success.”
