Mapaero, the leading French water-based coatings provider, signs an MOI with AVIC, the Chinese aerospace R&D and production integrator as well as with IRKUT, the Russian aircraft manufacturer.
With regards to AVIC, the project aims at setting up R&D and painting solutions on the C919 program.
In a second stage, the project will be extended to other programs not only focusing on Chinese aircraft manufacturers.
Concerning IRKUT, the MOU targets painting solutions of composites on the MC21 aircraft. R&D as well as customer support solutions are key parts of the project.
