M.A. Metal adds new CO2 Mitsubishi laser machine
Wednesday, 21 February 2018

M.A. Metal, a metal stamping and forming company serving various industries, has purchased and installed a new eX-CFR 4500W resonator CO2 Mitsubishi Laser machine in its Indiana facility. The new machine will allow M.A. Metal to cut thicker material and increase cutting speeds.

The fundamental superiority of Mitsubishi Lasers begins with the resonator technology. The 4500W resonator delivers a unique pulse for a sharper beam, cleaner parts and 90 percent lower gas consumption. Many laser machines are in excellent condition but are limited by aging resonators. Upgrading the resonator can improve piercing time and reduce maintenance and operation costs.

CO2 lasers provide advanced programming and high-speed cutting for maximum productivity. As one of the most cost-effective machines on the market, the eX-series provides faster movement, more powerful piercing and an eco-mode that reduces costs while the machine is running.

"We are excited to have this new Mitsubishi Laser in our facility," says Ronnie Burton, sales manager, M.A. Metal. "The increased power and new features of the eX-CFR laser will help increase our capabilities and open up opportunities for more capacity; these are both essential components for our company growth."
