Searching for new processes, solutions and business opportunities can be done in several different ways. One of the most efficient is to test the new ideas and methods in real life, something that can be hard to do at the same time as you are utilizing your own production line to the maximum. The Quintus Application Center solves the problem by offering access to both equipment, competence and cooperation.

In order to support our customers and partners in developing their different businesses, Quintus Technologies has established a specialized Quintus Application Center, located at Quintus headquarters in Vasteras, Sweden. The center creates a focal point where lab activities, operational training and customer activities can be arranged. The long-term aim is to support the customers in developing their processes and methods to optimize productivity.

At the Quintus Application Center the customer, supported by a team of Quintus specialists, have the possibility to run testing cycles in Quintus production equipment. This includes evaluation of new production processes and materials to optimize parameters to get the correct material properties, using state of art equipment as well as the competence built up by Quintus over many years. The Center is equipped with a Hot Isostatic Presses (HIP) with three ovens and one Fluid Cell Press (QFC). An additional Deep Draw Press is scheduled for installation later this year.

At the Application Center the Quintus team, together with the customer, can perform pre-studies, validate, simulate, and verify processes and materials, and provide the training needed to implement new solutions and products. Quintus also arranges world class tech seminars that gives the customer full access to both the latest trends and to experts in the field.

As an additional service, Quintus can offer material testing together with an external partner to evaluate chemical composition, microstructure, porosity, mechanical properties and fatigue properties of the tested samples, scope and price to be defined based on current needs.

The fact that the test equipment is placed just a couple of steps away from the conference room gives an extra benefit for the customer; a time-efficient process.
