How do you access $2.5 billion in DOD funding?

Mark Gordon, Director of AIA's National Center for Advanced Technologies (NCAT), and an expert in DOD funding programs for companies of all sizes, will identify how in a series of upcoming AIA sponsored webinars.  The first webinar (one of a series of four), described below, will focus on the DOD Technology Transition Process (June 25, 2PM EST).

Annually, the Department of Defense invests over $2.5B in programs focused on maturing technology which can be used in Defense Systems, with the objective of assisting companies in competing for DoD business.  The portfolio of DoD investments available to companies range from innovative start ups to OEM component demonstrations to manufacturing and production assistance, and their aim is to help companies succeed in providing the best technologies to the DoD.

In fact, over $1B of DoD Technology Transition funding is directed at small businesses alone.  Companies throughout the supply chain, including both small businesses and large firms, need to know what programs are directed at their size and sector.

In the current economic environment, firms need to seek out additional avenues of revenue and funding, especially for their R&D efforts.  Understanding the range and objectives of available DoD programs is critical in evaluating which opportunities to pursue.

You can sign up for a single webinar or the series by going to our Resource Center at http://www.aia-aerospace.org/resource_center/ and clicking Aero Webinars, right at the top.  Discounts are available for AIA regular and associate members and by purchasing a webinar series.   The DoD Technology Transition Process - June 25, 2 PM EST
