New VX CAD/CAM V13 to be previewed at International Distributor Conference

VX Corporation, specializing in CAD/CAM for plastic products and molds, will hold its annual International Distributor Conference this year in, Pforzheim, Germany from May 17-18.

New VX CAD/CAM Version 13 Previewed

This year's International Distributor Conference for VX distributors will feature previews of the next major release, Version 13, plus special application demonstrations.

Version 13 promises to be one of the most important, innovative releases in VX history featuring an unprecedented number of enhancements providing dramatic productivity gains. Some of the Version 13 highlights are a new mechanical simulation module complete with camera controls and AVI output, a new filleting engine, and multi-viewport options with dynamic object slicing enabling cross-window construction and control.

For VX CAM users, Version 13 highlights the new breakthrough technology, Smoothflow™, which guarantees maximum machining efficiency while minimizing tool wear.

Version 13 is expected to be available towards the end of the summer.

The conference, held annually, will be attended by VX's growing network of international distributors providing representation in major markets around the world. Pforzheim, Germany was chosen as the host city for the conference because of the preponderance of VX users in Germany and because Pforzheim, a gateway city to Germany's Black Forest, provides a scenic venue where attendees can concentrate on what's new in Version 13 and how their customers can benefit from VX's broad CAD/CAM offering.

"Last year's conference was held in the Italian Alps and our resellers had a great time plus gained good insight on how VX is helping companies around the world deliver better products faster," said Bob Fischer, VX VP of Sales and Marketing. "This year, we're expecting about a 20% increase in attendees as our distributor network continues to grow worldwide."
