Aerospace and defense industry choosing Dyadem for Risk Management

Dyadem, the leader in Operational and Quality Risk Management solutions, today announces further demonstration of its commitment to helping companies in the aerospace and defense industry maintain quality and safety. Dyadem's risk management software is increasingly being adopted by the aerospace and defense industry, including organizations like Atkins, Diamond Aircraft Industries, Lockheed Martin, Nelson Engineering, Rockwell Collins and the Federal Aviation Administration.

Aerospace and defense contractors are held to some of the most stringent industry and government regulations and must be diligent in removing unnecessary risks from their design and manufacturing processes. Dyadem helps these companies collaborate across all phases of product development, bridging the gaps that once existed between design, manufacturing and the entire program supply chain. This allows more streamlined reporting for the many regulations that are required including compliance with International Organization for Standardization's ISO 9000 and the European Association of Aerospace Industries' AS9100 standard for quality management.

"There is so much complexity involved in building modern aircraft and with product development cycles of years and with often several hundred suppliers contributing along the way, managing quality throughout a program is extremely difficult," said Kevin North, President and CEO, Dyadem. "Fortunately, we have been able to provide the industry with a mechanism for sharing and communicating lessons learned and best practices across the supply chain, saving many organizations time and money and avoiding further delays in production."

"Dyadem's software has given us innovative methods for managing risk across our operations," said Daniel Ruse, Director of Quality, Diamond Aircraft Industries Inc. "In our industry, small mistakes that go undetected can become large liabilities. Dyadem gives us the consistency that manual formats lack, and provides us with risk reporting and visibility across the supply chain that we previously could not have imagined."

Quality Risk Management involves effective planning before, during and after the manufacturing stage. Dyadem's Stature platform allows manufacturers to collaborate in real-time and improve quality, compliance and communication across a global manufacturing enterprise. In addition, Stature's supported applications allow users to capture information and assess quality risks across design and manufacturing centers worldwide, allowing companies to learn from their mistakes and to prevent future occurrences.

"Prior to implementing Dyadem software solutions we were dealing with a time-intensive, laborious system. Dyadem has helped us to cut down on the time that was previously spent on the manual documentation of risk," said Chris Marriott, Senior Safety Engineer, Atkins.
