The first test flight of "Rysachok" multipurpose airplane was performed in December 3, 2010. This airplane of light class was produced by "TsSKB-Progress" (manufacture) and NKF "Technoavia" (designer). During the flight test the airplane span 2 times around the enterprise's landing place and successfully landed.
"Rysachok" is a two-engined airplane with M601F turboprop engine with power of 750 h.p. produced by Walter company (Czech Republic). This airplane is meant for pilot training, first of all, which can replace famous AN-24 airplane. It is able to carry up to 9 passengers or 1500 kilos of cargo. Distance of flight is 2500 km. Cruising speed can vary in the range of 250-400 km/h. It can be used for unpaved runway of 500 m long.
It is supposed to use such airplanes not only for training and passenger transportation purposes but also for landing operations, air medical services and agricultural aviation. A number of agencies and companies have already shown their interest in such type of an airplane.
