After the overwhelmingly positive response to the company's EvoStrength(TM) technology, Composite Helicopters International is pleased to announce its intent to certify its composite helicopters and has filed the Type Certification application with the New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority.

This signals the end of phase one of the development program and an important opportunity for further expansion of the CAA / FAA Bi-lateral Airworthiness Agreement which will allow for follow-on FAA Type Certification.

Interested persons can view the composite helicopters at HELI-EXPO booth number 3265 where we will have two helicopters on display:

1 The entry level helicopter, the KC630 with an RR300 engine in an executive five seat configuration, and

2 The high-powered, high-altitude model, the KC650 with a LTS101 engine in a utility six seat configuration.

A third medium powered model for the Type Certification program is also proposed. The KC640 with the RR250 C20B engine completes the composite helicopter product line and provides customers with an opportunity to upgrade performance while remaining within the EvoStrength™ composite helicopter family.

Completion of Type Certification for KC630 is anticipated in late 2017, followed by the KC650 and KC640 in 2018.
