PRESS RELEASE
Issued by: Safe Flight Instrument Corporation

AutoPower for the Gulfstream G150
Monday, 6 October 2008

Safe Flight Instrument Corporation announced today that Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics, has signed a contract to install Safe Flight's Automatic Throttle System, AutoPower®, in the Gulfstream G150 business jet as an option.

The system will be certified under a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) by Gulfstream in Savannah, GA. and will be available for installation on production aircraft and subsequently available to existing G150 operators on a retrofit basis.

AutoPower® is a full regime Automatic Throttle System that is designed to provide smooth and precise engine target settings for airspeed control.  The system delivers significant flight performance advantages resulting in increased situational awareness, reduced crew workload, and greater passenger comfort.

The Auto Throttle System reduces the need for pilots to continuously adjust the throttles during flight to maintain optimum flight conditions.  Safe Flight's AutoPower® is a full authority system with takeoff to touchdown capabilities, a system that will add value by bolstering the performance and safety of the Gulfstream G150 aircraft.

AutoPower® systems and components from Safe Flight have demonstrated unprecedented reliability on more than 9,000 corporate, commercial, and military aircraft.
