Duval Precision Grinding has been officially approved as a Tier 1 vendor for General Electric (GE). After recent growth, GE has been adding more vendors to their roster of trusted service providers to accommodate increased production demands. As industry experts in aerospace grinding, Duval was chosen to provide precision grinding services as a tier 1 vendor.
"We're very pleased to be working more directly with GE and the other vendors in their network," said Duval Precision Grinding president, Ron Parlengas. "Duval was chosen because of our familiarity with GE processes and production requirements, as well as our depth of experience with aerospace grinding and coated surface grinding."
Tier 1 vendor status indicates that Duval Precision Grinding will now work directly with GE, receiving bigger, more complex components for grinding services. Duval's superior industry knowledge of aerospace component grinding, its ability to work with coated surfaces, its flexibility to accommodate a wide range of component sizes and complexities, and its in-depth engineering capabilities made it the ideal choice to support GE's growth.
Duval Precision Grinding will be working on a wide variety of GE products in the future. Their main focus will be on aerospace equipment, power generation, and jet propulsion, and could develop into opportunities to support GE other industries. Duval's history in the aviation industry and its ability to provide custom tooling, fixturing, and grinding techniques guarantee they will be a valuable addition to the GE vendor network.
