Computer Conversions Corp. has announced the release of it's new CP-Synchro Series' cPCI (Compact PCI) compatible, intelligent, Synchro, Resolver and LVDT I/O module to provide active position feedback, stimulus, and data transmission, on industrial and defense related applications.

The CP-Synchro Series facilitates up to 8 channels of high speed Synchro, Resolver and LVDT inputs, 6 channels multiplexed inputs, programmable AC reference Excitation source(s), and up to 8 channels of sensor simulation and Digital to Synchro outputs.

Input Channels are all independently transformer isolated, featuring programmable Synchro verses Resolver input, programmable bandwidth, and provide auto-ranging of signal and reference inputs having a magnitude range of 1-28VAC verses 28-115VAC with operating frequencies of 47-10KHz.. Absolute Position accuracy is 1 arc minute, and the 16 bit resolution tracks signal input rates of greater then 150RPS. A 16 bit tachometer grade velocity feedback is provided on each channel, complimented with real-time incremental encoder simulated outputs to compliment motion controls and servo-drives verses ACP/ARP outputs for driving radar systems.

Synchro and Resolver based Multi-speed and multi-turn absolute position feedback is also supported to provide programmable pre-combined conventional and vernier ratio's having a resolution to 24 bit precision and sub-arc-second accuracies.

Output channels feature true Isolated, trouble-free, proven Transformer coupled outputs that directly mimic the AC counterparts they are simulating. Provide output enable control, dynamic rotation, thermal report, and an isolated wrap-around testing that monitors the outputs with the actual field wired signals and Synchro amplifier / repeater output signals included.

Output channel accuracy is 1 arc minute with 16 bit resolution and provided with a dynamic rotation features to assimilate moving targets independent of bus throughput.

The signal outputs are capable of driving phase shifted loads without requiring on-site tuning on a per channel basis, to ease integration and installation related labors and to allow the comfort of shared technologies to be deployed over any number of different users regardless of signal cable lengths and wiring configurations.

Additionally, the card is available with Active Synchro Control Transformer Outputs, and Active Synchro or Selsyn Differentials, to control directly "active" pan and tilt, platform stabilizing / stabilization and fire control related applications unhindered by bus throughput.

Ideally suited for many Synchro data transmission applications, these cards have been designed to facilitate configuration for redundant operation, and include redundancy tolerable I/O with active outputs monitoring and built-in dual redundant output monitoring interlocks.

The high channel to channel and channel to bus isolation provides total user reference and signal autonomy, prevention of ground loops and cross-talk, additive capacitive loading, or compromising existing sensor users and existing signal-sensor power schemes. This allows users of having multiple reference and standby power sources to preserve isolation between, while facilitating safety concerns, and long sensor cable lengths without incurring additional error or oscillations.

These cards are complimented with a broad selection of rugged brushless resolver sensors, and multi-turn absolute position feedback resolvers suited most any application or environment.

Drivers are available in both WindowsTM* and Linux variants.

Pricing for the CP-Synchro Series is $2555. each, in 100 piece quantities, relative to the quantity of channels configured on the card.
