High wing single piston light aircraft. Also produced as turboprop (no longer promoted). Current models are the MX-7 Series (MX-7-180B, MX-7-180C, MXT-7-180), the M-7 Series (M-7-235B, M-7-260, MT-7-235, MT-7-260), and the M-9 Series (M-9-235 Carbureted, M-9-235 Fuel Injected, and M-9-260).

Maule M-7-235 Super Rocket 1983 / 1983 Lengthened cabin compared to M-6 prior variants with optional 5th seat, tailwheel undercarriage, includes M-7-235B (strut landing gear), and MT-7-235 (tricycle landing gear) variants. Original M-7-235 no longer offered.
Maule MX-7-180B Star Rocket 1993 / 1993 Four-seater variant with strut landing gear, includes other MX-7 Series variants: MX-7-180C (spring gear), and MXT-7-180 (with hydraulic nosewheel).
Maule M-7-260 1998 / 1998 Fuel-injected engine, development of M-7 Series with 4+1 seating, includes MT-7-260 (tricycle landing gear), and reinforced M-9-260 (comparable to M-7-260C but with greater gross weight allowance) variants.
Maule M-9-235 2003 / 2003 Structurally reinforced variants with 4+1 seating and greater gross weight, includes M-9-235 Carbureted, and M-9-235 Fuel Injected variants.
