The short answers. If yours isn’t here, the contact page will route you to the right person.
Airframer is a directory of the aerospace manufacturing supply chain: who supplies what, on which aircraft programs. It covers around 1,400 active programs, 12,800 supplier companies and tens of thousands of confirmed supply relationships, researched and maintained by an editorial team in the UK. It is published by Stansted News Limited, under licence from Airframer Limited.
No — and this matters: Airframer is a directory, not a parts dealer or broker. We can’t provide quotes, stock levels, certification paperwork or lead times for any component. What we can do is show you who makes it: search the directory by category, program or product and contact the supplier directly.
Three streams: our own editorial research; announcements and releases from manufacturers and suppliers; and submissions from the companies themselves through the self-service update page. Company-submitted changes are reviewed by our team before publication.
Not necessarily. Information is compiled from a variety of sources, and links do not necessarily imply recommendation or confirmation by the airframe manufacturer.
The directory is updated continuously, and the news pages and weekly email Bulletin carry the latest supply-chain contract announcements. Each program page shows when its data last changed.
Basic listings are free. If your company supplies an active aircraft program, tell us — the fastest route is the contact page (choose “Our listing”), giving the program, what you supply, and something we can verify it against. Our researchers confirm before anything publishes.
You don’t need a named aircraft programme to be listed. If you supply components, materials or services to a higher tier in the aerospace manufacturing chain — a systems integrator, a tier-one or another manufacturer — tell us that too, and who your customer is. It helps to ask that customer whether we may record the relationship, so we can show the connection even where the specific programme isn’t public.
Authorised contacts can edit the entry directly at the update page: contact details, categories, program links and products. Every change is queued for review by our team, so edits appear after checking rather than instantly.
The marketing and decision-maker contacts we hold on record for your company. If you should have access and don’t, ask via the contact page and we’ll verify you.
Free visitors see shortened lists; subscribers see everything. Companies with an Enhanced entry are always shown, even in the shortened lists — that’s part of what Enhanced buys.
Yes, in the categories where product listings are enabled — those with prominent, named product lines (avionics, engines and the like). Authorised contacts manage product entries through the update page, including which programs each product serves.
A lot: news, program overviews, and the directory with shortened lists. Creating a free account adds a little more. Full lists, full company detail and full program supply chains need a subscription.
Standard unlocks the full directory for reading: complete lists, nothing obscured, full contact details. Analytics adds the downloads system — reports and spreadsheets unlocked with download tokens — plus the Analysis section: peer benchmarking, market white-space maps and program comparison tools.
Tokens come with an Analytics subscription (£1 = 1 token) and never expire. Spending tokens unlocks a parcel — a sector or a program — for a year: its report, PDF and data spreadsheet, and its Analysis exports, all covered by the one unlock.
That program has a sponsor: their support opens the page’s supplier breakdown and analytics for every visitor, credited to the sponsor. One thing doesn’t change: the downloadable report isn’t on sale for sponsored programs — though if you already own the parcel, you keep access.
Subscriptions come in single-user and multi-user bands — the subscribe page shows both prices, and a two-year option saves 10%. Sharing one login outside its band isn’t permitted.
Prices are shown ex-VAT and VAT is added at checkout where applicable. For invoices, receipts and anything billing-shaped, contact accounts via the contact page.
Three rungs: an Enhanced entry (stand out everywhere your company appears), an exclusive sponsorship of a sector or aircraft program (one sponsor per market — your brand on the pages every buyer in that market uses), and the reach package across the site and the weekly Bulletin. The advertise page has details and an availability checker.
Use the availability checker on the advertise page, or ask. If it’s taken we’ll tell you when it expires and hold first refusal for you.
Conservatively, in your favour as a buyer of them: an impression only counts when the ad was actually viewable on a real visitor’s screen (at least half visible for at least a second), with bots and our own office traffic filtered out.
Thank you — corrections make the directory. If it’s your own company’s entry, fix it via the update page. Anything else: the contact page, choosing “Report a data error”, with a link to the page concerned.
Yes — the weekly Bulletin carries the week’s supply-chain contract news. TBC sign-up link/wording once the Bulletin page lands.
Use the password reset on the login page first. If your subscription has lapsed or your email has changed, the contact page (Subscriptions & billing) is the quickest fix. TBC exact reset wording once magic-link login is decided.
The contact page has an intent picker that routes you to the right team — listings, subscriptions & billing, advertising or data corrections.
