Esterel Technologies and SII announce alliance

Esterel Technologies, the leading worldwide provider of model-based development solutions for critical systems, and SII, the partner in technology of major companies, announce a partnership to jointly drive the use of SCADE solutions across French businesses that are developing critical embedded applications.

SII has made a significant proactive investment in order to assemble a deployable SCADE Suite v6 engineering team to underpin bid activities for advanced projects. SII's recognized engineering and development capabilities coupled with its certification and safety expertise in the aerospace and defense and railways markets will provide its critical embedded customers with a best-in-class application development solution, speeding certification and reducing time to deployment.

Developers of both mission and safety-critical embedded control applications and critical embedded graphics displays can benefit from the time savings and product quality improvements resulting from this association. Esterel Technologies and SII share numerous customers throughout Europe, including Eurocopter, Thales Aerospace, Airbus and AREVA TA. This partnership will allow for continuing work on joint customer projects in the most efficient and expert manner. SII's SCADE development team has already completed development work on avionics functions requirements, automatic pilot systems, flight monitoring systems, and automatic train controls applications. Development is currently underway on additional flight control and automatic pilot applications.
