University of Nottingham Aerospace Technology Centre building work is under way

Work has begun on a new, dedicated research and knowledge transfer centre on University of Nottignham Innovation Park (UNIP), adjacent to Jubilee Campus. The 1800m2 facility will:

• provide unique facilities for application-focused research (TRL 4-6)

• support application-focused, integrated research at a size & complexity not possible within any other UK institution

• house multi-disciplinary projects that build on our world-leading fundamental research

• provide space for large-scale demonstrators

• strengthen relationships with industry partners

• support integrated projects that evolve towards large-scale demonstrators

The Aerospace Technology Centre (ATC) will open in early 2012, and we are now inviting suggestions and proposals from academic leaders and industry partners to populate the facility.
