Curtiss-Wright Controls, Inc. today announced that it has commenced deliveries under a contract from Korean Aerospace Industries (KAI) to provide its industry-leading Rotor Ice Protection System for use in the new Korean Utility Helicopter (KUH). The Curtiss-Wright Rotor Ice Protection System extends operational capacity in mixed or unpredictable weather, enabling flight in icy conditions, without risking pilot safety, mission requirements or equipment damage. Shipments of the systems are projected to continue through the end of 2020.

"Curtiss-Wright is excited to partner with Korean Aerospace Industries to provide our Rotor Ice Protection System technology for use on the important new KUH rotorcraft," said David Adams, Co-Chief Operating Officer of Curtiss-Wright Corporation.

The Curtiss-Wright Controls facility located in City of Industry, CA, is manufacturing the products covered by this agreement. The products are being shipped to KAI in South Korea.
