Liebherr-Aerospace on board AW189 helicopter program

For the first time, Liebherr-Aerospace is on board an aircraft with all three of its product lines: It supplies the AW189 program of helicopter manufacturer AgustaWestland with the landing gear, flight control and environmental control system. All three are highly integrated, latest generation systems that have been designed and developed to efficiently support the helicopter's highly demanding operational requirements.

The flight control and landing gear systems are designed, tested and manufactured by Liebherr-Aerospace Lindenberg GmbH, Lindenberg (Germany), Liebherr's centre of excellence for aerospace flight control and landing gear systems. The environmental control system is designed, tested and manufactured by Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS, Toulouse (France), Liebherr's centre of excellence for aerospace air management systems.
