UTC Aerospace Systems, a unit of United Technologies Corp. has been selected by Cessna to provide interior cabinetry and interior composite panels for the new Cessna Latitude aircraft. The Cessna Latitude cabinetry and periphery work will be accomplished at the UTC Aerospace Systems' facility in Wichita, Kan.

The Wichita Cabin Systems facility, which provides custom design and manufacture of galleys, vanities, high/low and sidewall tables, credenzas, bulkheads, composite panels and window shade assemblies, is part of UTC Aerospace Systems "Total Cabin Capability®" solution -- which means a focus on products, service and support for its business jet customers. The Wichita facility is also an FAA certified repair station providing repair and refurbishment services.

"The selection of UTC Aerospace Systems for the Latitude's interior strengthens our longstanding partnership with Cessna and supports our commitment to unsurpassed quality in cabin interiors," said Daphne Falletti, president, Interiors. "We look forward to playing a key role in the success of Cessna's first business jet with a stand up cabin."
