EMTEQ, a leader in design engineering and certification for avionics installation kits as well as interior and exterior LED lighting, announces the establishment of EMTEQ do Brasil, Ltda in Taubaté, São Paulo region, Brasil. The design team became employees of EMTEQ, Inc., headquartered in New Berlin, Wisconsin, in late spring of 2008. The two individual organizations had been collaborating on various projects several months prior to the Brasilian office's establishment as a legal EMTEQ entity.

Says Jeff Rozewicz, Director – Sales & Engineering, "The establishment of a design facility in Brasil allows us to better service customers in the region. The team in this particular office adds significant value to our overall capabilities with their proficiency with design software and CAD programs such as IGE-XAO and CATIA." He continues, "It's becoming increasingly important for companies to offer comprehensive tools, technical support and innovative time and money-saving ideas to maximize results for both our internal and external clients. What EMTEQ do Brasil is able to do for has resulted in improved communications regarding technical issues and greater efficiencies in our assembly processes."

The Brasilian facility is not the only EMTEQ location which exclusively provides engineering or design services. The former Avitas Engineering, located in Miami, Florida, was acquired by EMTEQ in 2002. Their expertise is in the development of installation engineering and integration designs with FAA, EASA and other local certification approvals. EMTEQ's recently acquired Canadian entity; Aero Consulting Services (ACS) specializes in aftermarket engineering and technical support.
