Silver Software completes merger with German based system development partner to create Silver Atena

Silver Software, developers of safety critical software based in Malmesbury (UK), India and Spain have announced the completion of their merger on 12th September 2008 with the Technology and Systems business of Atena Engineering Gmbh, based in Munich, Germany. The new organisation, Silver Atena, combines Silver Software and Atena's 10-year track record of delivering successful projects on major programmes such as the Airbus A380, Boeing 787, BMW Hydrogen Project and the European Rail Traffic Management System. Silver Atena now offers a comprehensive service portfolio including system engineering, software engineering, hardware engineering, safety engineering, consultancy and test equipment products to the high integrity systems market.

Operating predominantly in the aerospace, defence, rail, automotive and gas turbine domains Silver Atena offers a proven business model combining European expertise and the benefits of offshore delivery through our world class development centres.
