Systron Donner Inertial awarded HAWK Advanced Jet Trainer contract from BAE Systems Rochester, United Kingdom

BAE Systems Rochester, United Kingdom has awarded a contract to Systron Donner Inertial (SDI), a brand of InnoVista Sensors, for SDI's 5655, tri-axis sensor assembly system, for use in the HAWK Advanced Jet Trainer Program's attitude control systems.

The 5655 tri-axis rate sensor assembly includes three high performance Quartz MEMS QRS11 gyroscopes housed in a small ruggedized light weight container. SDI's QRS11 rate gyros have delivered over 7 million failure-free service operating hours supporting critical customer applications worldwide.

BAE Systems is an industry leader in both Civil Aerospace and Defense platforms. “SDI is pleased to continue its long term service relationship with BAE Systems Rochester, United Kingdom, and SDI is honored to be selected again as part of the Hawk Advanced Jet Trainer Program,” said David Hoyh, Director Sales & Marketing for SDI.
