AMETEK PDS, a proven leader in the design and manufacture of aerospace products, announces the release of its new AC Secondary Power Distribution Units (SPDUs). These new 3-Phase 115 VAC units are capable of continuously delivering 180A across 24 independent SSPC channels. They are designed for all load types and can be customized for any application.

With the release of these new MIL-STD-704 and DO-160 compliant units, AMETEK PDS now offers both AC and DC SPDUs, giving air framers two fully configurable, lightweight, precision low-noise options to distribute, control and protect aircraft power.

"We're excited to add the AC SPDUs to our lineup of solid-state power distribution and utility control products. Our proprietary design provides for greater control over the distribution of AC power to meet the needs of today's modern aircraft and allows for future design needs without hardware changes," comments Glenn Kidd, Sales Director for AMETEK PDS.

Scalable power distribution and control solutions from AMETEK PDS provide cost-effective, lightweight and easy to integrate system solutions for today's more electric aircraft (MEA). That Includes design solutions for single engine turbo-prop, large commercial and military aircraft applications.
