AMETEK to supply fuel gauging system on HondaJet business aircraft

The Sensors and Fluid Management Systems Group (SFMS) of AMETEK Aerospace & Defense has been selected by Honda Aircraft Company, Inc., to supply the fuel gauging system on the new HondaJet business aircraft.  The system is made up of 15 level sensing probes, a refuel display panel, a signal conditioning unit and four in-tank wiring harnesses.

HondaJet is an advanced light jet offering class-leading performance, fuel efficiency, interior cabin space and cargo capacity achieved through numerous innovative technological advances in aviation design.  Honda's first-ever commercial aircraft, the first deliveries are scheduled in the United States in late 2010.
