MTI Systems today announced that a leading global manufacturer of aircraft engines is expanding their use of the company's ShouldCost Estimating Service (SES) after a successful one year contract. The new agreement triples the number of service hours provided over that of the initial contract.

"We are very excited that one of the largest, most respected tier one suppliers in the Aerospace industry has chosen to significantly expand their usage of our services throughout their organization," said Tom Charkiewicz, CEO of MTI Systems. "This is a real vote of confidence from a best in class manufacturer that has put our product (Costimator OEM) and services through its paces and determined that it truly delivers considerable cost savings. By working closely with our customers, our team of cost engineers is able to provide the type of detailed, bottoms-up cost data they need to analyze and ultimately achieve lower product costs, both at the design stage and during product procurement."

SES is a division of MTI Systems, providing cost engineering services for mid-to-large sized manufacturing organizations worldwide using the company's proprietary cost estimating software solution, Costimator OEM. The company's cost estimating service provides costing data that supports the development of parts and assemblies throughout the product lifecycle, from design to production.
