FNM gains AS9100 approval

29/10/2018

Press releaseIssued by Frazer-Nash Manufacturing and published as received — not written by Airframer’s editors.

Frazer-Nash are proud to announce that we are now certified to manufacture aerospace components under AS9100 Rev D. Our scope includes 3, 4 & 5-axis CNC milling, multi-axis CNC turning, EDM wire erosion and metal additive manufacturing. This makes us one of the first companies in the UK to have additive manufacturing on their scope, and likely to be the first to have extensive machining facilities on the same approval.

Upon announcing the achievement, Paul Mortlock (FNM's Managing Director) said 'Having AS9100 approval for both traditional and additive manufacturing allows Frazer-Nash to handle many different projects, and supply our customers with a complete solution from under one roof. With our heritage deep within aerospace, we look forward to building on this and continue the great work the team has put in over the last year achieving this approval.'
