At the Ulyanovsk Aircraft Building Enterprise Aviastar-SP JSC (part of the UAC Transport Aviation Division), the first panels for the new Russian regional turboprop passenger aircraft Il-114-300 were manufactured.

"At the plant in Ulyanovsk, panels for the fuselage compartments, hatches and doors are assembled," says Grigory Istomin, director of the program for the manufacture of components of aircraft equipment of Aviastar-SP JSC. A feature of the new machine is its manufacture from scratch, according to the new electronic design documentation. The project of the specially created section at Aviastar-SP JSC for assembling the fuselage panels of the Il-114-300 aircraft was developed at the beginning of the outgoing year. "

The first production panels of Aviastar-SP JSC are intended for the second Il-114-300 aircraft, the assembly of which will be carried out at the new production base of MiG RSK JSC in Lukhovitsy - at the Aviation Plant named after P. A. Voronin.

Currently, pre-contract work is underway at the Ulyanovsk airline to supply units for the third model aircraft of this modification. In the future, Ulyanovsk aircraft builders plan to increase production of units in accordance with the production program approved by the UAC Transport Aviation Division.

Unlike foreign machines, the Il-114-300 can be successfully operated at unpaved airfields. Designed to carry up to 68 passengers.
