NAWA is pleased to announce the creation of its subsidiary in the United States.

Headquartered in Dayton, Ohio, NAWA America was born from the takeover of the activities of the American leader in VACNT for composite applications, N12 Technologies. N12 began developing its own patented two-stage growth process for vertically aligned carbon nanotubes (VACNT) in 2014, at the same time as NAWA in fact, and has become an expert in VACNT-reinforced composite materials.

With this acquisition, NAWA extends the scope of application of VACNT to the field of composite materials by making them lighter, more fatigue and impact resistant. In addition, NAWA strengthens its R&D base with a collaboration with the University of Dayton (UDRI) and MIT.

The NAWAStitch materials concept developed by NAWA AMERICA has enormous potential in a wide variety of sectors, including automotive, aerospace, renewable energy, space, defence, sports equipment and consumer and luxury goods.
