James Wiebe designs a new safety product especially for pilots

James Wiebe of Chipper Aerospace and Radiant Technology has released a new product designed especially for pilots through his newest company, Thin Air Energy.

Geiger CO provides a real time alarm when Carbon Monoxide levels are dangerously high in the cockpit. The auto calibrating unit includes an aural alarm and a visual LED scale.

In contrast to competitive products, GEIGER CO is much smaller, more responsive and designed to use an internal USB rechargeable battery. When flying, pilots should place it where it is visible while in flight. Because of its small size, it can be hung anywhere.

The product is designed as a response to pilot request, said James Wiebe, CEO of Thin Air Energy. "Pilots want something that is very small, rechargeable, and quickly capable of identifying carbon monoxide. Because it is designed to be attached to a keychain, it is also desirable for anyone who travels (for use in truck cabs or hotel rooms, for example). According to our market research, this is the smallest, most portable, most usable CO monitor available, and it is reasonably priced."
