Skydweller Aero Inc. achieves its test flight successfully

Skydweller Aero Inc. announced the official launch of the company's flight test campaign. The test flight took place in Albacete, the company's provisional location for ground operations and test flights. Skydweller Aero will be conducting a series of tests in the coming weeks to demonstrate the reliability and safety of the aircraft.

"The start of the Skydweller Aero flight test campaign marks the beginning of our incredible journey to bring the much desired perpetual flight to the world," said Dr. Robert Miller , CEO. "Our technology and our innovative and advanced platform will not only make aviation history, but will provide a solution that both governments and the commercial sector desperately need."

This multinational aerospace startup will begin testing its autonomous systems technology in 2021, starting with optionally piloted flights (OPV) and transitioning the aircraft to a fully autonomous platform. Since then, Skydweller Aero will begin long-term demonstrations at various altitudes and conditions.

Skydweller Aero SL, a European subsidiary of Skydweller Aero Inc., is headquartered in Toledo, Spain, with operations in Madrid and Albacete. Skydweller Aero is preparing to move assembly and testing operations to Valdepenas, where they are building their new hangar.
