LEO coupe's propulsion system receives DARPA contract for R&D
The Leo Coupe uses clusters of electric jets for lift.

Electric Jetpack technology is the foundation for Urban eVTOL LEO Coupe and LYNX

Urban eVTOL co-founder Pete Bitar's company Electric Jet Aircraft has created a revolutionary electric jetpack design that uses clusters of electric jets for lift.

Already proven in manned tethered flights, this technology was recently awarded a DARPA contract for further development. This is significant for Urban eVTOL, as this unique technology forms the foundation for LEO Coupe and LYNX's propulsion systems.

Creating compact, shrouded and redundant propulsion is a key step in creating the compact forms that make LEO and LYNX revolutionary aircraft.
