Park Electrochemical Corp. (NYSE: PKE) announced the introduction of its new E-710 Easycure™ low temperature cure, toughened epoxy prepreg family of products for automotive, industrial, wind energy and aerospace composite parts fabrication.
E-710 Easycure™ prepreg products are designed to cure at temperatures between 160°F and 200°F with cure times ranging from 13 hours at 160°F to 2 hours at 200°F in an out-of-autoclave process. E-710 Easycure™ has an out-life of up to 60 days at temperatures below 75°F. E-710FR Easycure™ is an enhanced flame-retardancy version of the product which meets the requirements of US D.O.T. FMVSS 302 for automotive applications.
E-710 Easycure™ and E-710FR Easycure™ are available on a wide variety of reinforcements, including woven glass and carbon fabrics, as well as complex multiaxial broadgoods.
