Xpel announces name change

Xpel Technologies Corp., a leading supplier of automotive paint protection and window films, today announced its name change to “Xpel, Inc.”, as approved by shareholders at its annual general meeting on June 28, 2018 and by the TSXV Venture Exchange on July 23, 2018. The Company will continue trading its shares uninterrupted under the current symbol “DAP.U”.

Common shares owned by shareholders of the Company will automatically be adjusted as a result of the name change and no further action is required to be taken by shareholders. The CUSIP number assigned to the Company’s shares remains unchanged.

Mr. Ryan Pape, President and Chief Executive Officer of Xpel, commented, “As our business has expanded, so has the Xpel brand. This new name better aligns with who we are as a Company today and will alleviate confusion among our various constituencies about the nature of our operations.”
