Aechelon Technology Inc. announced today that Lockheed Martin has executed an initial order for Thirty-Two (32) F-35 Full Mission Simulator Training Visual and Sensor Systems.

Each of the training simulators features a high number of OTW and EO/IR sensor channels for real-time simulation of a full fidelity F-35 and its multispectral geospecific environment.

When options are exercised the contract would exceed 130 multi-GPU Aechelon Nucleus units to be delivered this year.

Under this contract Aechelon Technology will supply software licenses and hardware options for its state-of-the-art pC-NOVA Nucleus 8-GPU Image Generators, a true multi-spectral multi-channel compact image generator featuring Multi-GPU NVIDIA Professional Series with a dramatically reduced footprint. The Aechelon Nucleus combines C4ISR grade GPU-based simulation of OTW, NVG, EO/IR, and Radar support.

Aechelon Technology is now the partner of choice for F-35 Training Systems as well as in the F-35 and F-22 Joint Synthetic Environment and USAF F-35 and F-22 VTTC Mixed-Reality programs.
