Crescent Aerospace Technology LLC acquires Square One Coatings Systems LLC

Crescent Aerospace Technology LLC announces today that it has completed the purchase of Square One Coating Systems LLC (SQ1) from its founder Lloyd Ploof effective January 2, 2024. Based in Oriskany, NY, Square One Coating Systems LLC is a precision metal finishing manufacturer serving aerospace, defense, space and precision commercial and industrial industries. SQ1 specializes in a diverse array of coatings, bringing 100+ years of combined technical expertise among its management team. SQ1 offers industry leading lead times, superior quality and competitive pricing. SQ1 has NADCAP Chemical Processing accreditation in eleven (11) processes and has achieved numerous end customer approvals and certifications from leading aerospace, defense and industrial OEMs. SQ1 is an ISO, AS9100 Rev D company.
